Defroster/defogger/hvac System Compressor Problems of GMC Canyon

The contact owns a 2023 GMC Canyon. The contact stated that upon activating the defroster during cold winter weather, he became aware that the defroster failed to properly defrost the front windshield and that the windshield wipers failed to adequately remove ice debris, potentially compromising windshield visibility. After a visual inspection of the windshield, the contact observed that ice had damaged the windshield wipers. No warning lights were illuminated.
