3 Gasoline Fuel System problem of the 2007 GMC Canyon

Failure Date: 12/01/2009

I took my truck in to the dealer because the rear brakes would stick the when depressed and released doing normal stop and go in my neighborhood at intersections with stop signs. The deal service advisor informed me that there was a service bulletin on my rear brakes. The did the repairs as stated in the service bulletin and that I would not have a problem with my brakes. I told the service advisor at the dealership that in order for the proper repairs done that both sides if my rear axle brakes should have new parts installed, not just one side. On the day of June 20th 2011 with only 25277 miles on my 2007 GMC Canyon the brakes started to stick and squeal again just like when I had the first work done as stated in the first service bulletin. Now the service advisor informs that I must pay the labor charges for these new repairs to install parts and the rear axle brakes even after the fact I informed them that I purchased the "extented warranty coverage" because at the time I purchased this warranty I was told that if any mechanical failed I would be covered and I could drive my new truck "worry free" of any problem after the original 3 year or 30,000 miles, which ever comes first, ran out.

7 Gasoline Fuel System problem of the 2006 GMC Canyon

Failure Date: 03/01/2007

I have a 2006 Canyon and in the last year I have had to replace tail lights, three sterios,4x4 buttons, windows, wiring has been repaired severial times, the truck is excessivly hard on gass, and as soon as my inline five cylinder engine hit 31. 000 km I had to take it back to the dealer once again ,this time for a new engine. Apparently there only good for thirty thousand and then need to be replaced. Hard to believe this truck cost me almost forty thousand dallors. Dont get what you pay for with a gm. My next truck will be a Toyota and this Canyon has convinced me to never buy another gm product again and hopfully I can save some people from making the same mistake I did.

8 Gasoline Fuel System problem of the 2005 GMC Canyon

Failure Date: 01/01/1901

Rear view mirror sight line is severely restricted to a small centered tunnel like area. The consumer stated, when the rear bench is folded down, the head rest makes contact with the drivers seat, which does not create a flat platform as designed. Moving the front seat forward to accommodate the rear folding seat, comprises the drivers position by making it extremely uncomfortable and cramped. Consequently, the feature doesn't work. There was nothing in the manual stating there was an option to remove the head rests. The consumer was not getting the correct mpg. At night, when the clock and radio dash lights are on, the blue/green horizontal display light reflect to the rear window. The image is then reflected into the rear view mirror as a vertical blue/green line.
