Two problems related to air bag have been reported for the 1996 GMC Jimmy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving through an intersection, an oncoming car failed to yeild or stop and a three car accident occurred. The air bags didn't deploy. The vehicle is no longer drivable and is totaled.
No deployment of airbag during accident, causing injury.
