One problem related to steering gear box has been reported for the 1996 GMC Jimmy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
During normal operation of vehicle at any speed it is difficult to maintain control of vehicle because of a "floating" sensation. Dealership has examined vehicle numerous times, and replaced various components, including steering box/ ball joints/ idler arm, and tires. Please provide any additional information / documentation.
