Two problems related to engine have been reported for the 1997 GMC Jimmy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The anti-lock brakes activated without warning, which caused the consumer to lose control of the steering, and then the engine stopped.
The engine is defective and the vehicle cuts off while driving with no notification, dealer urges to drive vehicle until it gets worse. Dealer cannot duplicate the problem.
