One problem related to headlight switch has been reported for the 1997 GMC Jimmy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When the headlights are 'on' they compete with the running lights. Simply, the lights flash between the headlights and the running lights. This has happened numerous times over the past 2 years. I have replaced the light switch 3 times and when it gets 'hot', this happens again.
