Three problems related to engine cooling system have been reported for the 1998 GMC Jimmy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The problem as described in bulletin #990602012d occured with my coolant system on the incident date. I had the whole system flushed and new coolant added. On 5/21/03, I had the coolant system flushed again and new dex-cool added. As of today's date 7/14/03, I noticed while having problems with my air conditioning, which may be related, that the dex-cool is almost completly emptied out of the over-flow. I think there is something significantly wrong with the coolant system and needs to be recalled!!! a 5-year antifreeze shouldn't only last 2 months.

Consumer recently had vehicle serviced concerning collant corrosion, consumer was advised that the reservoir for the collant was rusted and instead of an orange color it was a greenish color, therefore coolant had to be flushed out and new coolant added.
