Two problems related to fuel pump have been reported for the 1998 GMC Jimmy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The fuel pump failed. A new fuel pump and fuel filter were installed. Consumer is dissatisfied with this failure. The battery and the alternator failed as well.
When driving, the vehicle was making a high pitch noise. Consumer took vehicle to the dealer, and was informed that all of the GMC fuel pumps were making that particular noise. Please provide any further information.
