One problem related to steering tie rod assembly has been reported for the 1999 GMC Jimmy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While the driving 30-35 mph inner tie rod and ball joint on the front axle broke, causing the front end of the vehicle to fall. The condition was reported to GMC. The vehicle will be repaired at owner's expense.
