When lifting my tailgate up, the inner support lift cylinder came loose and the complete gate came crashing down on the back of my neck, causing serious injuries to my vertibrate. Also, sustained pinched nerves in my neck and shoulders. / this is the first year GMC made the complete gate lift upward instead of folding downward.
