Four problems related to door latch have been reported for the 1996 GMC Safari. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Passenger's vision is impaired finding it difficult to locate door lock button to unlock door.
Sliding door locks and links failed.
Door latch to slide door failed.
Windshield leaks water during rainy weather; also, sliding door is opened w/difficulty with latch design possible failure. Please describe details.
