One problem related to front seat belt anchorage has been reported for the 1996 GMC Safari. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle was involved in a frontal collision at 35 mph. Upon impact, neither air bag deployed. Dealer and manufacturer were not notified at this time. Consumer stated that the right front belt failed to hold.
