Three problems related to hydraulic power assist steering system have been reported for the 1997 GMC Safari. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
No brakes, no power steering. Is such catastrophic failure common at 40. 832 miles?.
A new vehichle should never have these kinds of problems. GMC could care less about my problems because they were out of warranty and I had to pay for them. Each time cost over $1,000 dollars. No safety defect listed in summary.
The power steering system failed, which caused consumer to lose control of the vehicle.
