Three problems related to electrical system have been reported for the 1998 GMC Safari. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The consumers vehicle experienced symptoms of NHTSA recall number 03-v-930-000 related to a short circuit in the electric outside rear view mirror switch.
When the vehicle was turned on, the exterior tail lights did not illuminate unless the high beams were turned on.
Electrical short in vehicle causing interior lights to fail.
