Cruise Control problems of the 1999 GMC Safari

While sitting in traffic on an incline, vehicle accelerated suddenly, hitting vehicle in front, injuring 3 people. Wife was standing on brake pedal to bring vehicle to a stop. Vehicle was going to be examined during coming weeks. Another accident occurred on 26-Aug-2001, 2 additional people were injured in this accident due to sudden acceleration while vehicle was stopped, later the cruise control was found on when it had not been activated, dealer disconnected it and consumer has not had any further problems.
