Four problems related to fuel injector have been reported for the 1999 GMC Safari. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Fuel injector keeps on breaking down. This is the third time that consumer has taken vehicle into dealer to get injector fixed.
Conusmers vehicle has been in for repairs of the fuel injectors six times. Vehicle is not running properly because of the failure. The service engine soon light illuminated resulting in necessary flushing of the injectors. The fuel pressure regulator is leaking and the fuel tank filler pipe needed replacing.
The vehicles fuel system is faulty causing the vehicle to exhibit a no start or stall condition while driving, the dealer has replaced fuel pump relay, 4 terminal connectors at the power distribution center, the check engine light illuminated and the dealer replaced all six injectors. Nlm.
Vehicle has been experiencing ongoing problems within a 12-month period. Fuel injector had to be replaced on four occasions/driver's power lock failed to operate/courtesy lights and radio would come on intermittently/battery shorted out on two occasions/side window stopped operating/tail lights intermittently blinked off/on/odometer would flash off/on, and rear door would intermittently lock/unlock.
