2 Suspension problem of the 2004 GMC Safari

Failure Date: 06/14/2004

While parallel parking vehicle turned 90 degrees to the left within two-car lengths. Vehicle had been to the dealer on four occasions. Dealer checked the tire pressure, did a complete wheel alignment, and rotated the tires. But, problem still recurred.

3 Suspension problem of the 1996 GMC Safari

Failure Date: 03/15/2002

Windshield wipers do not operate - recalled - dealer claims it was repaired, now wipers operate whenever it feels like it. Both torsion rods failed without warning within 1 day apart of each other. Mechanic revealed that gm now has a special technique to be done when this happens and it costs an extra $90 to repair. Which means they are aware of the problem and will not recall the vehicles and replace at their cost. Broken spark plug almost killed my family. Fuel pump went out. Driver's side window does not roll down, driver's side view mirror does not operate.

6 Suspension problem of the 1998 GMC Safari

Upon purchase of vehicle within the 30 day warranty the car began shaking uncontrollably when braking. This has continued over the last 12 months. The car is temporarily ok . For about 3 weeks after each repair then begins shaking again. In January merchants decided they will not fix the problem at their expense any longer yet this has never been remedied and is in the shop every 6 weeks for the same problem.
