One problem related to accelerator pedal has been reported for the 1998 GMC Savana. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When foot is removed from accelerator pedal to decelerate, it takes approximately ten seconds or more before vehicle starts to slow down. Speed plays no factor in deceleration. When brakes are applied, pedal goes to floor. Taken vehicle to dealer & mechanic refused to write up problem until representative drove vehicle.
