One problem related to air brake antilock control unit/module has been reported for the 1999 GMC Sierra 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
If slowing down to stop, I apply my brakes, if I am going over any bumbs in the road my brakes release make it impossible for me to stop in time, so for no wrecks but if my speed was higher and had to make a stop where there are bumps or ripples in the road, there will be an accident.
