One problem related to rear suspension leaf spring u-bolt has been reported for the 2004 GMC Sierra 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below. The leaf springs continuously squeak. . . And are way too noisy! I have personally tried to clamp them down. . . Grease them. . So they do not squeak! I plan on taking it to the dealer!.
