The contact stated while reversing the back over prevention object indictor showed that an object was to the side of the vehicle, causing the contact to rear end the object. No one was injured. There were minor damages to the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that there was no failure found and provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 13,000.
