Three problems related to brake electric antilock have been reported for the 1997 GMC Sierra 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When applying brakes hard they do not work. Also, when applying brakes to stop vehicle, they let go and donot hold. Vehicle is at dealership.
False engagement of anti-lock brakes.
Brakes insufficient for vehicle weight, lock on wet roads and don't apply enough stopping power to activate abs. Qcaw.
