One problem related to tank assembly has been reported for the 1999 GMC Sierra 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
1999 GMC k2500 fuel gauge goes down to show half a tank and stops there. Shows erratic readings. Vehicle can run out of gas and appear to have aprox. Half a tank.
