Im the owner of a 2004 GMC hd sierra truck with almost 74k miles. Im the original owner. Some months back tha gas gauge stated shwing gas readings way beyond full. It would stay that way for some time beforere going back to normal than it would fail again. Last week the speedometer gauge went beyond the 120 mile reading and continues to show high speeds -even when im parked. Im concern about danger this failures may cause to me or other drivers on the road. I will contact my local GMC dlear for a fix.
A/c does not cool properly. I have been to the dealer twice for this problem. First time vehicle was still under warranty. There is a TSB out on this problem and dealer insisted that a/c was cooling properly. Now that the vehicle is out of warranty, it still has the same a/c problem. The vehicle now needs a $175 a/c service, TSB still not performed. My vehicle met all the criteria to have this performed before my warranty ran out, and still does.
My ignition also switches off due to the key chain being to heavy, I would like my vehicle fixed as well. I think gm is not telling the whole story on how many vehicle are affected by the ignition switches. I can prove my claim by attaching my two key chains together again and the problem will occur again.
