Tl-the contact owns a 2008gmc sierra. The contact stated that when she attempted to start her vehicle which seized without warning. An independent mechihc was contacted and drove to the contact resdenmts to inspect the vehicle. However, the vehicle had to be towed to the independent mechanic shop for a diagnosed test to be performed which was unable to determined the failure. The batteries was replaced but the failure recurred. The vehicle at that time was taken to the dealer harry robinson Buick GMC 6000 s 36th st, fort smith, ar 72908 (479) 646-8600 for a 2bnd diagnosed test was perromfred and determined that the main control module failed and ndded to be replaced. No repairs at this time. The contact mention TSB bulletin 14515b, as a possible cause of the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but no further assistance was taken. The failure mileage was approxmently 100,000. Ck.
The brake lights on my 2008 GMC sierra will get stuck on, indicating to others that I am braking when in actuality I am not. I have replaced the brake switch and the issue continues.
