Local dealer is not repairing my recall. I keep getting told parts are not available and this has gone on for years.
Dash cracked on passenger side of vehicle. It happened shortly after we owned the vehicle.
Tl the contact owns a 2009 GMC Sierra 2500. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16v381000 (air bags) however, the part needed for the repair was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. Ed dena's auto center (1500 w el monte way, dinuba, CA 93618), was contacted and it was confirmed that the part was not yet available for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
