Defogger Problems of GMC Sierra 2500

The contact owns a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 10 mph, the defroster system failed to defrost the windshield. In addition, the windshield wipers caused ice build up. The failure recurred on multiple occasions. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 1,600.

#1. Hvac system with a/c on drivers side ( only) will go into full heat , if you shutoff engine and restart system will be fine again for sometime, there is no set pattern as to when this will happen sometimes a day or a week sometimes a month. #2. Drivers side window will not work , like above sometimes it works fine than it wont work for a few minutes or for a day.

2007 GMC sierra is blowing extremely hot air but it will not clear ice from window. Consumer states that the air is so hot it burns and you can't place your hand on the dash because it is that hot. But he says it will not defrost the window. The consumer stated the defroster did not defrost the upper part of the windshield, only the lower part.
