Electronic Stability Control Problems of GMC Sierra 2500

The contact owns a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500. The contact stated that while driving 30 mph when the check engine malfunction and electronic stability control system malfunction warning lights had illuminated. The vehicle had locked them out of the vehicle causing them to be unable to open their tailgate. The contact had to unplug their battery to lift the warning lights however the tailgate still failed to open. The vehicle had not been taken to the dealer, diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 1,000.

2020 GMC sierra denali duramax 3000 miles tried turning on truck this morning to go to work and would not even crank it is a push start option have no clue on how im going to take it to the dealership if I cant get it of park into neutral for a tow truck at least ! truck does not crank it throws me a ton of messages stability trak dsc abs power reduced 4wd check trailer lights. Bunch of messages I took video of it and so truck doesn't even try to start. I took a video or the problem.

4x4 low range has no power. I have never seen such a weak pulling truck when in low range.

On 5 different occasions the power to the truck cuts off and the steering wheel locks up while driving. On the dash the stabililock light flashes. This has happened to me while turning to get on a major highway, while driving down main roads trying to change lanes, and the last time I was turning into my banks drive through and had to slam on breaks in order to avoid crashing into the median. I took the vehicle back to the dealership patriot in killeen texas and they said they updated the system and found no issues and could not recreate the issue I said I was having. This morning on my way to work, it happened again. This could be deadly if it happens again.

Tl- the contact owns a 2014 GMC sierra. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle several warning sensors would suddenly illuminate that included the stibilitrac warning. Also while driving at low speeds the power steering would suddenly shut off. The contact also indicated that while driving on the highway approximately 75 mph the vehicle had momentary shut off and turned back on. The cause of the failures were not determined. The local dealer key Buick GMC was notified of the failures. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 75,000. Jft.

While driving the stabiltrak fault light came on and the right front brake locked up and jerked the vehicle to the right. The vehicle was traveling at 30 mph on a secondary road.

Traction control / stabili trak cam on the transmission would not shift hade to manual it to shift.

I have a 2009 GMC seirra and it shuts off for no reason at all while you are driving. And I feel this is very dangerous. There are several complaints about this and there should be a recall on this. My vehicle has less than 50,000 thousand miles on it. And of course it started happening 2-months after the warranty was up.

I have a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500hd crew cab 4x4 with the 6. 0 engine and 5 speed manual transmission. Everytime I come to a slow stop the abs unit engages and reduces pedal pressure, causing the brake power to fade and increasing the distance of my stop.

My truck is a work truck driven by an employee, I have just recently become aware of a condition regarding the instrument cluster, wherein the whole panel does not work, I was advised by the employee that this happened quite some time ago, but was never made aware. I contacted GMC but apparently, because this is considered a special policy recall (only if someone complains - and within a specified time period 7 yrs or 80,000 miles) they will not repair this defect. I never received a notice, nor was I aware of the problem within that time period. I was further informed by my worker that at the time the panel went out, the fan for the heater/air condition unit appeared to smoke and now it does not work. Here again, I have not received any recall notices for this defect either. Finally, in my attempts to get the cluster repaired, I have been informed that there is a recall on the hydro boost accumulator. . . I have not once received a recall notice on this vehicle and I purchased this vehicle new. My vehicle has 101,000 miles on it. You would think that a vehicle of this nature would last longer than 100,000. But apparently not. . . Also, when these is such a major recall out on a vehicle you would think that GMC would contact you and advise you of this problem. .

I bought (2) Sierra 2500 hd trucks that have serious hub assembly problems with one replacement in 2011, lighting system work when it want to and has drain five batteries from aaa and advance auto in the past seven years, abs/engine light stays on since 2007 and after 10 years is gasket problems with gm products. I have talk to gm executive office that fix the hub assembly and tailgate recalls problem in 2011 but unwilling to deal with it now after talking to gm dan. I think I need out side counsel and engineering firm to test and testify on my behave and 2,300 other owners with the same problem. I want new vehicles and setting up a date with congressional oversight committee, and NHTSA review my case. I have met with congressional panel investigating gm that want to help me resolve this problem. I been a gm person but seriously looking in the foreign market if I have no serious resolution.
