The contact owns a 2024 GMC Sierra 3500. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the contact attempted to start the vehicle however, the vehicle failed to start. Upon inspecting the vehicle, the contact became aware that the battery was drained. The battery was recharged. The contact stated that while driving, there was an abnormal odor inside the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the battery was overheating. The contact was informed that the battery needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired.
