One problem related to brake antilock wheel speed sensor has been reported for the 2001 GMC Sierra 3500. The most recently reported issues are listed below. Brake pedal will go hard at low speed and not brake. My dealer said it is the wheel speed sensor and he cleaned it. GMC has a recall for this problem on their suvs and some pickups but not for my truck.
