Tl-the contact owns a 2005 GMC Sierra 3500. The contact stated that the speedometer became inoperable. The steering wheel manes an abnormal noise while driving. The failure recurred multiple times. The vehicle has been repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 62,250. Kw.
I was driving down the road when the steering wheel locked into place. I had to jerk it hard in order to get it to released from the locked position. This has happened twice already. Can easily cause a crash. Needs to be fixed by manufacturer.
