Integrated Trailer Brake Control problems of the 2022 GMC Sierra 3500

The contact owns a 2022 GMC 3500. The contact stated while the vehicle was parked, the trailer plug was connected, and electrical fuses popped. The contact stated that all the fuses were blown. In addition, the contact stated while driving the vehicle, the trailer brakes did not function as intended. The contact stated that the trailer brakes went off and on. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a failed trailer brake control module. The contact was informed that the trailer brake control module needed to be replaced.
