Exterior Lighting Problems of GMC Sierra 3500

Randomly when the truck is turned on, the turn signals will stop working, no noise, nothing. When this happens, the infotainment system also stops working. It is unsafe to be driving and not knowing if your signals are working or not. This has been happening since the truck was purchased from the dealer.

My intellibeam function stops working sometimes, I can still use the lights as normal but the intellibeam function stops every so often and starts working after about 2 to 10 mins. Lane departure warning stops every so often and will start working after 1 to 10 mins, I have noticed that when it stops working at night time then the intellibeam function stops working also. When I press the on/off button for lane departure then it will say that lane departure is unavailable right now. I have been getting a p20ee code showing something is wrong with scr nox sensor 2. Scan tool reveals that the sensor works normal and then stops. Once I clear the code then it works good for a few days.

Transmission control module failed. Reduced power to vehicle to first gear. Blinkers, speedometer door locks, and other safety and driving devices did not work. Check engine turned on. Device is held at some GMC dealerships nationally however they will not sell the part to have the truck repaired.

While driving on the highway at night during mixed precipitation/icy conditions I noticed I was loosing visibility. I had to pull over on the highway to see if my headlights were on. I discovered they were completely covered in 1. 5-2in of ice. The entire front grill of the truck was covered in ice. I had to chip off the ice on the headlights so I could see. I had to pull over three times during my 2hr drive to scrape the lights just so I could see! the headlights on the 22 model have shape, not straight or a smooth curve like prior models, which is part of the problem. Although, it was strange how the entire grill was covered in ice. I have always owned GMC or chevy trucks and have never had anything like this happen. I wish I took a picture to send in but I didn't think of that in the moment. This is absolutely a safety hazard. I hope in the near future there will be a recall to have this issue addressed.

Intermittent issue with entire dash lights and radio lights going either fully out/off or extremely dark. Adjusting dimmer does not correct the issue. Affects driver safety due to acute driver distraction while trying to correct, and disables driver warning lights and all information systems, including towing related warnings (transmission temp/coolant temp, etc) dealer advises to bring it back when it is occurring, but occurrences are not predictable, nor do they occur on a regular basis. Cause is unknown, but since dimmer switch does not correct this issue, it is the probable cause.

I am afraid to drive at night because the head lights are terrible. I couldn't see the tire carcass left on the highway early enough to swerve around it. I hit it with the rear wheel and did approx. 6000. 00 dollars damage to the vehicle.

The new tow mirrors on this truck have led blinkers that are so bright you can't tell if someone is coming towards you when you have the blinker on. It's flashing right in your face.

I bought a GMC Sierra 3500hd dually and the top roof lights keep burning out. I have replaced lights rt and lt 4times at the dealer . My warranty 36000mils expired and the lights are burnout ,I can also smell burn solder inside truck cab. Also my tires are no good after 10000 miles tires wore out general tires aw . Tires should have lasted more specially coming from the dealership. Please help. Thank you.
