Electronic Stability Control Problems of GMC Sierra 3500

Electronic Stability Control problem #1

Tl-the contact owns a 2018 GMC Sierra 3500. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 60 mph and hauling a trailer, the abs warning light, the service trailer brake, service power steering warning lightand service stabili-trac warning light illuminated and the vehicle lost braking functionality. The contact also stated that the failure occurred while not towing a trailer. The vehicle was taken to buster miles Chevrolet, 1884 almon st, heflin, al 36264, (256) 781-4536, to be diagnosed. The mechanic was unable to retrieve a fault code. The contact informed that the failure may be due to a wheel speed sensor. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and informed of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 16068. Ah.

Electronic Stability Control problem #2

This vehicle has had numerous electrical issue from the first few months of ownership. The trailer brake system failed and was replaced on October 2014. The vehicle has had many recalls that have been corrected by owner and service provider. The second summer of ownership the vehicle had radiator issues, and most recently electrical issues again and transmission issues. While driving the vehicle electrical dashboard goes into a flicker and shuts down. GMC was able to fix this issue at the owners cost with the vehicle being out of service for 3 weeks. GMC was to reimburse the owner for costs of a gm dealer that was not able to fix the issue (painter automotive)(February 9, 2017) of $300, this has not been reimbursed. The vehicle is now at the service station as it does not start with no codes. It has been out of service for 2 weeks and counting, this vehicle is no longer reliable or safe for us to drive. We have documentation of all the issues and video of the dashboard flicker.
