On July 27, 2022 I was driving my 2022 GMC truck on the freeway. I was rear ended by a semi truck and the passenger side was side swiped by the semi. I was driving the truck with my wife and two kids as passengers. The truck was completely totaled. No airbags deployed and the seat belts did not restrain us. All 4 of us were wearing seat belts. Also, the drivers seat completely broke, it looked like it had been completely reclined to a laying position. A police report was made. All 4 of us were taken by ambulance to the hospital. All 4 of us needed medical care. The truck was totaled and towed, the insurance has since taken possession of the truck. There were no warning lights, service lights or any indication that there was anything faulty with the truck. We had just purchased it in February 2022. My safety, as well as the safety of others was put at risk. The semi truck driver stated he was driving 60mph. If this isn't enough for air bags to deploy, I don't know what is. The seat belts also failed to restrain us. The seat belts were completely loose and during the accident failed to secure us. Again, the drivers entire seat completely broke causing severe head, neck and back injuries.
I bought this truck in the dealer they put tires smaller than what it requires and a tire exploded in the freeway, those who help the traffic explained to me that the tire was small for the size of the truck, the same thing they told me in the tire places (clegg auto sale - 1485 n main st spanish fork utah ).

Tl the contact owns a 2015 GMC Sierra 3500. The contact stated that two of the five seat belts in the vehicle failed to properly retract and secure. The front passenger and rear middle seat belts became unsecured while the vehicle was in operation within weeks apart. The failure occurred frequently. Beaman Buick GMC (1531 broadway, nashville, TN 37203, (615) 251-8400) indicated that they would order the seat belt kit, but did not confirm the quantity. The dealer did not state whether the part was available. The contact was concerned that the seat belts could fail in the event of a crash. A loaner vehicle was not offered while waiting to receive the part. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and issued NHTSA campaign numbers: 17v437000 (air bags, seat belts), 16v651000 (air bags, seat belts), and 14v301000 (electrical system, seat belts). There were also three tsbs for the seat belts, but the contact did not know if the vehicle was included in any of the recalls or tsbs. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was not available.
