Two problems related to engine have been reported for the 1997 GMC Sonoma. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Constant vibration from engine due to a missing engine mount.
Consumer noticed smoke coming from out of the engine compartment. Vehicle was towed to dealer, dealer was replacing the engine.
