One problem related to vehicle speed control has been reported for the 1997 GMC Sonoma. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle starts w/ a jerk when accelerator is depressed from a stop. This is a common problem, with many needing an expensive replacement at low vehicle milages. Customer should not be required to pay for this update because of a design flaw.
