One problem related to tank assembly has been reported for the 1999 GMC Sonoma. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Fuel gauge is inaccurate and fluctuates when truck is in park or neutral reads between 3/4 and full when driving even if tank is close to empty. Drops to show tank is empty when in park even if full.
