One problem related to electric power assist steering system has been reported for the 1999 GMC Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The steering will suddenly get extremely loose and cause me to over steer. It has happened at low and high speeds, whether I'm turning or going straight with no real noticable pattern.
