Mechanical Equipment problems of the 2002 GMC T-series

Two problems related to mechanical equipment have been reported for the 2002 GMC T-series. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Mechanical Equipment problem

Failure Date: 12/27/2004

2002 chevy avalanche, we have had three incidents in the last 18 months with the drivers side front wheel. 12months ago the bearing went bad causing the car to pull very hard left when you tried to stop. They had to replace the bearing. 6 months ago an bad knocking sound became noticable. The said it was slack in a part in the same passanger side front wheel. They replaced a lube kit. Today we took the vehicle back in for a knocking sound. They replaced the same lube kit because of excessive slack.

2 Mechanical Equipment problem

Failure Date: 11/11/1979

1979 pontiac trans am 10th silver addition-crash, steering failed and struck tree, person driving received c6 spinal cord injury.
