Diesel Fuel System problem

The contact owns a 2007 GMC t series. The contact stated that while inspecting the vehicle, she noticed that the diesel tank was cracked and severely corroded. The contact stated that the metal was pealing allowing fuel to leak. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the entire tank and straps needed to be repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 50,000.
