There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where they added oil to the vehicle and also replaced the timing belt. Shortly after, the contact discovered that the vehicle still consumed a large amount of oil. The dealer (arnie bauer Buick GMC Cadillac, 5525 miller cir dr, matteson, IL 60443) stated that the contact could bring in the vehicle for an oil consumption test. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 114,000.
