When cruise control is engaged at 71mph, holding +res button to increase speed and releasing it at 77mph sets cruise speed too high. Car continues to accelerate. Cruise gets set at 100mph and accelerates more then desired. See link with video of event https://photos. App. Goo. Gl/o7zgeqwcsu7kycv58 see attached picture of owners manual.

On July 4th, 2019 at 11:15 am, this vehicle (lane assist and adaptive cruise control operating) applied its brakes somewhat aggressively without reason. This was on a highway. I have blackvue cameras that recorded the event. 12:15:09 74 mph 12:15:10 73 mph 12:15:11 67 mph 12:15:12 60 mph 12:15:13 56 mph I tapped the brakes to shut down the adaptive cruise control. 12:15:14 56 mph 12:15:15 55 mph.

The select the parts wont let me enter the description. When my vehicle is in cruise control the switch can be accidentally slightly touched and will shut off the cruise control causing the vehicle to immediately slow down without any warning to the vehicle behind me since the brake lights do not come on. I really feel that this is a safety related issue. GMC has a new cruise control switch for 2012 which is a push on and push off switch which alleviates this problem. I have contacted GMC and they informed that there is no plan to retrofit the 2011 Terrain with the new 2012 switch. Please advise! GMC knows that the toggle switch was faulty and replaced it with a push on push off switch. I just want my vehicle to be safe.
