Headlights flicker when auto stop releases and clicks back on to move the vehicle. This happens when it wants too but usually at the same time service parking brake will pop up, followed by steering is reduced, drive with care. . Lets see what else. Carplay no longer works. No sound. Sd card error pops up. Car will not play music through a cord but will via bluetooth, but charges a phone. Onstar light flickering between green and red until I turned off power to the liftgate. (manually clicking over knob to disable) headlights flickering can cause accidents. Sure hope there's no epileptics out. Yes, orielly. I have documentation, photos, videos, take your pick I'm here to help. Not evaluated at dealer or mechanic, who can afford labor rates? this has been happening for months and I will continue to report till something is done or lives are cared about.

The blower fan for heat in my vehicle was replaced in October 2022, recently the defroster will not engage and it is vital to winter driving. The mechanism that switches between which vent to blow out air was replaced and the defroster will still not engage, rather it comes out of the heat and face vents. Shortly after the defroster stopped engaging, the rpms will start fluctuating from 2 suddenly up to 6-8 without warning or acceleration then go back down and back up as if it's chugging along. Even when applying the brakes, this will continue to happen and there's concern for rear-ending or crashing when this happens. When driving home 2 nights ago the county police pulled my vehicle over due to burnt out headlight, which was replaced less than 6 months ago. Took the car in to get bulb replaced today and multiple bulbs later, the light is not fixed and it was said to be electrical and need to go to another shop. Beginning to wonder if this is all a bigger problem about to happen with engine/ powertrain. . With commute to work in the dark and electrical problem in the headlight randomly and the acceleration issues there is definitely a concern for safety.

My 4 cyl. Awd GMC Terrain has had excessive oil use which caused premature failure of the timing chain, loss of power/compression, blown engine, damage to exhaust manifold, cellinoids, and melted the catalytic converter. Its was a road safety, poor emissions due to failed catalytic converter. Headlights are too bright for oncoming traffic at night. Another road & safety hazard. Auto warranty is refusing to cover parts listed above caused by the timing chain and excessive oil consumption problems.

My vehicle had 2 recalls and I took it to the local chevy dealer where I had purchased the car in 2018. I was driving at nighttime and my head lights cut off. . They were in auto light mode. I read that GMC knows about some sort of issue with this but only covers repairs up to 150k miles. My car is 156k miles. There was no warning lights and no indication anything was wrong. Luckily I was the only care on my side of the highway and was able to slam on the brakes and come to a complete stop. I turned the car off and then turned the head lights to manual and they can back on. A few hours later when I got home, I let the car cool off and turned the headlight back to auto and turned the car on and the worked.

I took the car in for a recall regarding the headlights. The recall number is n222363740. The dealer placed a sticker. On the headlights, which now makes it hard to see at night this is my wife’s commuter car to work at the hospital. We live in a very rural area where the 2 lane roads are remote and very dark. My wife works from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm but with her commute she leaves at 5;30 am and returns home around 9:00 pm . This includes every single shift she works, so the bottom line is she leaves at dark and gets home at dark, needing her headlights to work and home every trip. Ever since they applied the sticker to the headlights, she’s having a much harder time seeing the road which is making it dangerous especially in winter weather. Since she travels by two lane very dark back country roads. I am asking for a different remedy for the headlight situation, other than the stickers on the headlights that are actually making it harder to see. I’m afraid she’s going to get in a car accident rather it be with a vehicle or the many deer. We have run across the roads out here by not being able to see. I feel this is very time sensitive and would really appreciate a response back as soon as possible. Thank you very much. Larry & crystal pierce 509-288-9578 ( cell ) lpierce007@yahoo. I went in yesterday, 10/6/22, for a fix to recall #n222363740. All they did was put an applique on the outside of both my headlights which came off at the car wash today. I waited 4 years for a remedy and an hour at the dealer for cheap looking bandaid. Not acceptable!! see attached photo of gm's fix.

Radio, hands free calling, and light on mirror shorting out. None of them work. It’s like it has a short in the wiring.
