Wiper problem #1

1. The driver side mirror tilts up or down every time the vehicle is started requiring readjustment before driving. My wife was almost hit by oncoming traffic when she did not remember to readjust the mirror before merging with traffic. 2. The driver seat bolster inflates every time the vehicle is started. The vehicle cannot be driven without deflating the bolster. These have been reported to the dealer 3 months ago with no resolution from them or GMC.

Wiper problem #2

While driving through rain on a long car trip, the wipers suddenly became completely inoperable. We could not see and were on a highway causing a serious safety issue. We had to drive very carefully off the next exit ramp. Tried turning on and off the car, no luck. Tried toggling the rain sense on the display and finally wipers came back on. About 20 miles down the road the same thing happened. Wipers became inoperable. We had to exit highway 4 times to try to wait and toggle for wipers to come back on. Immediately had it checked my a mechanic at our destination and he could find no cause for the incident. Our best guess is there is some computer glitch that needs to be fixed and I predict there will be a recall. Hopefully not before a disaster.

Wiper problem #3

This has occurred multiple times but while driving in the rain the wipers will stop on the middle of the swipe for a couple seconds and then start moving again. It is terrifying since a few seconds of zero visibility when it is raining with no wipers could cause me to run off the road or run into oncoming traffic.

Wiper problem #4

Multiple times the windshield wipers have randomly stopped working. Other times were on short drives from home and we were able to get home safely but had issues with visibility. Eventually they would come back on and start working again. Yesterday this occurred while we were out of town and driving home on the interstate in traffic and very heavy rain. It was almost impossible to see the road and due to multiple lanes of traffic it was a very dangerous situation. This is an huge safety issue and has now put my families safety in jeopardy on multiple occasions. Other drivers have also reported this issue.

Wiper problem #5

The front windshield wipers suddenly stopped working and will not turn on.

Wiper problem #6

I am experiencing ongoing issues with the infotainment system in my vehicle, which has remained unresolved despite multiple service visits. The system frequently blacks out, reboots while driving, and fails to function entirely at times, for days at a time. This is more than an inconvenience — it presents several serious safety concerns, including: •loss of the rearview camera and parking assist features, making reversing hazardous. •inability to access hands-free calling and navigation, increasing the risk of driver distraction and noncompliance with hands-free driving laws. •disruption of access to climate controls and safety alerts that are routed through the infotainment system. •frequent system crashes while driving, which divert my attention from the road. These issues compromise both the safety and usability of the vehicle, and I am requesting immediate action to resolve the problem under warranty.

Wiper problem #7

While in use on several different occasions, the front windshield wipers malfunction. They stop working for hours sometimes even days. This is a hazard especially if you are in the middle of driving and it’s storming. The a few days ago for instance I was driving and all of a sudden they stopped working while I was driving home in the rain, at night. I had to immediately pull onside the road and wait for the rain to stop because I tried everything to get them to start back working. Including observing and trying to make sure it wasn’t the wiper /signal switch. I even went under the hood and checked to see if the fuse had blown or if there was some kind of wiring undone. Still nothing. I have taken it to the dealership and several people complain about the same thing but no remedy has been presented. They just all of a sudden start back to working out of the blue. This is definitely a safety hazard and these wipers or wiper motor should be recalled and fixed immediately in my opinion. Please help. Save some lives before it’s too late. Thanks for helping with this matter.

Wiper problem #8

Serious safety issue: while driving in the rain, with the wipers on (actively working), randomly they will stop working. They will not work again until 10-15 minutes of time has passed. Any alternative setting makes no difference. During the 10-15 minutes of non-working wipers, there is nothing the driver can do…. Except wait. Depending where and when this occurs, this could be a deadly safety issue. I’ve checked the fuse; turned off the rain auto-sensing feature – yet the vehicle is scary to drive in the rain, not knowing if / when the wipers may stop working again. During my ownership of this vehicle, this has happened three times; of course you must be driving during rain for the issue to occur.

Wiper problem #9

Windshield wipers periodically fail to operate when turned on. This is but extremely dangerous because it's been impossible to determine what the cause is. When the wipers stop working, I adjust the speed from the intermittent settings to lo and hi and there is no change. I can turn the rainsense setting to off and there is no change. The wipers stop working and then after a few minutes, will turn back on. I have taken the vehicle to the multiple GMC dealers for service and they cannot diagnose the problem because it only occurs periodically. They refuse to change parts in an attempt to fix it. I have called GMC customer care and their response is "take it to another dealer". I have showed the videos I have captured of this dangerous situation and the dealers don't care. I have the videos and can share (but this site doesn't allow upload of videos). This is extremely dangerous. The wipers have cut out at highway speed in torrential downpour multiple times.

Wiper problem #10

Brand new vehicle, at about 5k miles the backup camera went out in April 2023. It is not decemeber of 2023 and I have no had any sort of resolution. I have 3 children ages 2, 4 and 5 and it is very concerning for me and my wife to not have a backup camera especially at night.
