1 Warnings problem

Failure Date: 03/07/2026

We were driving on the highway when the service lights came on along with the check engine light started flashing. The truck sounded like it hesitated a little, but the lights turned off and it drove his normal. We exited the freeway as we were close to home came home, parked it turned it off and turned it back on to test it, and it hesitated to turn on so we took it straight to the dealership where they repeated the issue. We left it there. They did not call me so I went up to the dealership the following day to check on this and I had not heard from them they told me why they were on the test drive that the engine had locked up. My vehicle was a part of the initial recall. They told me that it passed the inspection and they changed the oil to the new oil that was required and now at 12,000 miles my engine has failed.

2 Warnings problem

Failure Date: 11/12/2025

November 12, 2025 - turned on car and immediately noticed multiple system failure notices and very slow ability to brake. Immediately took to dealership - said battery needed to be re-charged. December 9, 2025 - turned on car and once again immediately noticed multiple system failures and very slow ability to brake. Failures were "brake system failure, 43 mph top speed, forward collision system unavailable, service brake pad monitor, service esc, service traction control, service sterring column lock" immediately took to dealership. Over the last 25 days in service all the dealership has told me is that their master technicians have looked it over and do not know the root cause. They are waiting for a new technician from gm. They also have another Yukon at the dealership with the same safety symptoms. No issues with the car prior to these two instances of failures. Car should not be driven.

3 Warnings problem

Failure Date: 11/07/2025

The forward collision automatic breaking sensor has already failed with only 15,000 miles. As well as the backup camera - it has already been replaced once.

4 Warnings problem

Failure Date: 08/22/2025

I have had problems with the navigation system where the screen goes blank. The radio is not responding and screen is black. When turning on the signal light you can't hear it. The speed limit in my town is 25 and after an update from the dealership it now says 55. I get an alert saying frontal crash not available atleast once a month. There are times when we are driving and we get the red alert as to detecting an object and there is nothing there. Parking assits does not work all the time.

5 Warnings problem

Failure Date: 12/19/2024

Aside from constant electrical issues with the serial gateway module that gm refuses to replace many safety features fail regularly most importantly this replacement Yukon for the 2023 with engine issues also has engine issues and the same 6. 2l engine. When leaving my home and or driving on any decent up or downhill road and coasting the vehicle will misfire and trigger the mil to flash. I’ve taken it into the dealer many times for this and in the end they say it’s a software problem with afm disabling 5 cylinders. They claim that the geometry of the vehicle along with having 5 cylinders disabled causes the engine to vibrate enough to make it think it’s misfiring. This came from their factory field service tech. They refuse to fix it. They refuse to put this on paper. They told me if I wanted it fixed, I could buy a 2025 instead. This is insanity.
