While driving my 2008 GMC Yukon Hybrid in my neighborhood, approximately 20 mph and decelerating, the car suddenly accelerated on its own. I felt a movement in the gas pedal, experienced a sudden acceleration, and I applied the brakes which made it stop immediately. This could have had a tragic outcome if I'd been in a parking lot.
