Other Fuel System problem #1

Vehicle will abruptly stop without any warning when starting to accelerate from zero up to about 10 mph. All engine indicator lights will flash including audible warnings of malfunction. I must come to a complete stop, put the vehicle in park, then proceed to restart the vehicle. A rear end collision is inevitable.

Other Fuel System problem #2

2010 yukon denali hybrid. We have owned many GMC vehicles and were very confident in our purchase of this vehicle, not only in the reliability of the vehicle, but it's safety for my family as well. I can confidently say after owning this vehicle for more than 7 years, I was wrong. GMC has failed its customers with known issues that cause concern for their safety and well-being. After two years of owning our yukon, the dash completely cracked out and GMC blamed me for using a well-known cleaning product to clean the dash, which I never used. After much back and forth, we were able to come to an agreement to get it replaced, now after only 85,000 miles the engine is shot. The vehicle has a collapsed lifter, which is a well-known issue, just look up afm failure on google and you get forum after forum of the same issue. Most likely the camshaft was also damaged and the motor will essentially need to be rebuilt. The cost is $6,000 from our local GMC dealership and GMC offer nothing to us except an apology. This is not acceptable and no one should spend $80,000 on a vehicle to experience this. This vehicle was meticulously maintained, regular oil changes and service through the dealership at recommended intervals. This should have never happened. Days later after the afm failure and motor rebuild, the hybrid battery went out and again the car had to be returned back to the dealership for repair. How can anyone have faith in your product if they can not even get 100,000 miles out of their vehicle without these catastrophic failures? they can't. After filing a bbb complaint it took weeks to get a response from GMC of "sorry, we can't help you" I should have known. I will make sure that my situation is well documented and consumers do not make the same mistake I have and purchase an unreliable vehicle from gm. If nothing else maybe they'll be forewarned.

Other Fuel System problem #3

Sometimes when I come to a stop my vehicle goes into the autostop mode, but when I go to accelerate it just dies in the middle of the intersection with the gas engine not engaging and the electric mode not moving the vehicle then it jerks really hard. The check engine light comes on and stays on for about a day and then goes off on it's own. I have taken the vehicle to mulitple GMC dealerships numerous times and paided out for repairs that did not solve the problem. The dealership claims to not be able to find any codes even with the check engine light on. I have been close to being hit from the back on at least 3 occasions because the vehicle initially moves slowly before jerking and stalling and almost broad sided on more than 3 occasions when pulling out of a stop sign into traffic. I am aware others are experiencing similar problems can we get help because obviously the dealership isn't concerned with our safety. I have recently been refused the opportunity the have a gm regional rep meet me at a local dealership to review the issue.

Other Fuel System problem #4

With the car is stopped, ignition off, key out, the car will periodically lunge forward while in park. The lunge is always forward and within 5 minutes of turning car off. When I notified the dealer, they flashed new code to the on-board computer. The next time I informed the service department that it was still doing lunging, they stated this is "normal". About 3 months ago, I was knocked to the ground when the vehicle lunged forward. I was checking the oil at the time.
