Four problems related to door latch have been reported for the 1998 Honda Accord. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Car did fine for a while then it went crazy on us. Accelerator petal sticks, brake lights don't work, horn does not work, cruise control does not work, door locks wouldn't work, front left blinker works only sometimes!.
While driving doors would unlock and lock on their own. Took vehicle to dealer for mechanic to check. As of yet cause of the problem had not been determined.
Left rear passenger door will not open. Dealer would not fix under warranty.
Rear passenger's side door will not unlock, it will not open at all. Honda dealers are aware of the problem. They cannot duplicate the problem. Vehicle is still under warranty, and cannot remedy the problem.
