Service bulletin #' 030013 & 03034 seats:front assembly:power adjust recall replaced bracket for looseness in seat-back & cushion - did not resolve problem - returned to dealership & was advised seat track - needed replacement - ($758. 53 track - labor $218. 38) the seat started shifting when vehicle was approx 2. 5 years old - contacted Honda direct (800-999-1009 case#n012003-08-220-1363) was advised they would pay 50% of seat track. 6 Front Seat Power Adjust problem

Failure Date: 12/26/2001

I was in an accident. I was sitting in stopped traffic when an SUV rear ended me going about 40 to 45 mph . It then sent me into a truck that was stopped in front of me. My seat the drivers side colapsed and I ended up laying flat in the back seat. After talking to the body shop I found out all the gears in the power seat were stripped causing back injury. It is my understanding that this should have never colasped. I have contacted the Honda dealer along with Honda consumer relation and the safety council and received no satisfaction they all just passed the buck back to one another it was a vicious circle.
